Opera Anywhere are very grateful to our many sponsors and supporters who helped us in the past to keep us touring. We are now looking for several sponsors to help us with some upcoming projects that will have considerable impact and are sure to gain wide publicity in Oxfordshire and beyond.
Our main project for 2015 will be to create a new opera festival at the amazing amphitheatre at Waterperry Gardens to follow on from the long running, highly successful ‘Art In Action’ festival. Our plans include matinee and evening performances of accessible fully staged opera with interval dining options in the wonderful gardens. A £10,000 donation would ensure we could embark on creating the festival that should attract considerable publicity and provide opportunities for exclusive corporate entertainment in addition to offering a wide range of performances to the public.
Opera Anywhere continue to plan further community performances of our ‘Mikado’ and ‘Pirates’ productions and also our ‘Amahl & The Night Visitors’ at Christmas, we need to raise £25,000 to help fund an ambitious touring programme that includes schools and youth projects across the UK.
Our third but probably most important challenge is to raise funds for a permanent General Manager, we need to raise £25,000 in order to ensure consistent leadership and efffort in order to continue to build our wonderful little opera company! If you think you can help we’d be delighted to hear from you! PLease call Mike on 01865 735910 or email.
