Miss Todd spends most of her days knitting and gossiping with Miss Pinkerton when one rainy afternoon a handsome beggar, Bob, comes knocking at her door. Both Miss Todd and her maid, Letitia, are smitten and offer to help Bob out but is this the thief they later hear about? Hilarity ensues as they try to gain Bob’s affections while all their good morals go out the window!
AMAHL & THE NIGHT VISITORS This is the tender, heart-warming story of Amahl, a poor crippled shepherd boy and his devoted mother who are visited one night by three kings, following a star on their way to see baby Jesus. It’s a knock at the door that will change their lives forever. Amahl & The Night Visitors was originally written for television in 1951 and has since become an annual tradition in the USA becoming one of the most frequently performed opera’s of the 20th century.
