Every summer Opera Anywhere work with the Cherwell Boathouse to create something really magical and extraordinary!
Enjoy your own private concert on a chauffeured punt or join a flotilla organised by the Cherwell Boathouse in Oxford. Our singers will serenade you with opera and song, while you enjoy a jaunt along the River Cherwell and Oxford’s stunning views.
This unique performance of opera on punts is one of the highlights on our summer calendar and definitely an occasion not to be missed! Self hire or chauffeured punts can be pre-booked here, as well as picnics for the journey, or to enjoy in University parks for the midway interval.
After an opening show at the Boathouse, Opera Anywhere will punt & sing their way downstream to the University parks, arriving around 6pm. We’ll stop off for an hour of picnics & more opera before making our merry way back to the Boathouse for the socially distant crescendo!
– Self hire punts seat up to 5 + 1 punter.
– Chauffeured punts seat up to 5.
– Maximum of 2 households per booking.
– Ticket price is per boat (not per person).
– Drinks can be pre-booked or purchased on the day.
– Picnics can be pre-booked or bring your own
– £60 for a self hire punt
– £120 for a chauffeured punt
– £17.50 per person for picnics
– 5pm to 7.45pm (1 hour picnic break in Uni Parks)

Punt to University Parks

Weather-proof packages
If you’d like something a little more comfortable, we can offer a boat trip around a dining-room table, with weather protection to guard against the elements. Packages include:

- Suitable for groups of 4, 6 or 8 people
