Touring our productions across the UK employing professional performers, very often visiting rural locations, is a highly risky business. It takes a great deal of courage to continue to invest in new productions and collaborate with venue managers to build sustainable tours, with most touring contracts based on a ticket share calculation. We apply for grants to enable us to grow and develop a sustainable future but to date, the majority of our income is still very much based on ticket sales.
