H.M.S.Pinafore

Opera Anywhere is a much-acclaimed national touring opera company based in Oxfordshire who have been entertaining audiences for over 25 years. This year they are adding to their Gilbert & Sullivan repertoire with the infectious comic operetta HMS Pinafore. Also known as The Lass that Loved a Sailor, this timeless classic with a twist tells of mismatched love across different social classes. Will love prevail? Climb aboard to find out and enjoy a feast of fun and merriment along the way.

Bring a party of friends or family, your tables, chairs, a picnic and enjoy a wonderful evening in the magnificent, large, private gardens of The Deane House. You may also bring a gazebo provide it is secured safely. You could even decorate it on a nautical theme!

There will an extended interval to allow guests to enjoy the gardens.

As it is Father’s Day, there will be a small gift for fathers who attend.

In the event of wet weather, the event will go ahead but we recommend you come prepared with wet weather protection or even bring a gazebo for cover.
